Nohea Momilani Elani in Humanoid Form

    Another character drawn and done~! I originally did her and most of my characters in a dress up game - lazy to draw them, but I was also busy with school, so I didn't really have much time to sketch their designs from scratch. What I do is use a dress up game to note down the basic idea I have for the character(s) and when I have the time, I look back at the saved file and then start from scratch with research and reference for their designs.
    Other than that, I was having difficulties on her clothing design the most because I wanted someone that's princess-y like, but adventurous at the same time. I looked up Hawaiian clothes, Caribbean clothes and found what I wasn't really looking for. Then I started to think about Atlantis and how it ties to Greek mythology and such and mermaids - meh! So I have Nohea designed in Greek inspired clothing which is just the right balance for her - royal and adventurous.
    I used the pose as a reference to draw her by Kate-FoX which is "Pose Study6"
